Jellyfish vs Charming Cuttlefish
Original Poem by Lynn Raizel Lane
We've all seen this scenario somewhere before
The masses follow the one who stands out
A class clown, politician, or "Barbie" all adore
Turns into loss of autonomy, so everyone will pout
A clone becomes a doormat underneath the feet
A Cuttlefish may be camouflage pleasing each new crowd
Doormats are like fearful sheep lining up all too neat
Charmers may cheat to be sure nobody remains proud
Shall you willingly lose your soul to fit in
Or stand up for truth to live your own life
Being social doesn't require all to give in
Life is too short to live under that knife
