This painting is an original, compelling, hand painted abstract with meaning behind its composition. Has your life had some challenges and rough spots? Survivors of anything catastrophic may understand the meaning behind the notion of going through fire and ice. Those who have overcome significant challenges can relate to the symbolism of enduring through adversity. Was our understanding of nuts and bolts merely based on perception all this time? If you perceive a face or a tree in an image, your interpretation could be correct. We coexist in a world of visible and invisible energies where things can be interpreted in many ways. What do you see in this image? It could depend upon which way you TURN this image. We live and die on this planet, and need to be aware there is something to live for and to learn. We forge the way of our journey; making decisions in every action we take. Day by day we create the chain that becomes the chapters of our story and WHO we are. Every life is unique and shaped as one of a kind. Regardless of background, culture or identity, every individual holds their power of significance.
In this particular painting for Series IV, the original image was depicted from another angle with another color scheme. But, just outside of your consciousness, imagine the image as a figural being of sorts. Hanging it one way will frown, but it's up to you to turn that frown UPSIDE DOWN. That's how you FORGE your way. Or, could those be hands praying? Or, do you juggle too many tasks at one time? Seeing things in an abstract painting only works in accordance with a curious, open-minded imagination. Keep an open mind to perceive its depth and meaning, evoking emotions that may not have a tangible form. Afterall, there really ISN'T anything there! Yet, hopefully, it FILLS your heart.
Forged Through Fire And Ice
Original Poem by Lynn Raizel Lane
Life is forged very carefully
Not the same for you or for me
Everyone grows at their own rate
Some learn to love and others hate
Do you balance too many things to do
Juggling balls like a seal at the zoo
Are your cultural assimilations in place
Or did life end up a complete disgrace
We become what we do a day at a time
Whether getting old or in our prime
Growth comes out of elemental roots
Plant seeds carefully to bear good fruits
Life is forged through fire and ice
Some parts ugly and other parts nice
Days can be hot or days can be cold
No matter which way we still grow old
Is your identity one big forgery
Or do you have honest integrity
Turn your thinking upside down
If everything just makes you frown
God is there if you prefer to bless
Like hearing the bell in Polar Express
Be good to yourself and respect others
Say Happy Mothers Day to all mothers ♥
