Vintage Grandmothers in the 1960s and earlier were different, because they put children and grandchildren first as their priority. These women did not focus on themselves to look sexy like a beauty queen, were not selfish, and did not try to be anything they were not. If they had the money for plastic surgery, they probably did not use it for that. Perhaps it was because she came here with her family as a young girl immigrant to Ellis Island from other cuntries to USA from Austria and Ukraine? Some came from Poland, Ireland and Germany. It was nice that these women aged gracefully; and although some changes like hair dye may have been made, many still embraced who they were by nature. That was their magic and their superpower.. being Grandma, Gramma, Granny, Grammy, Nana, Gigi, MomMom, or whatever the kids were using to endear their loving ways. Grandmothers like the one pictured were real jewels and will never be forgotten. But, just to be reminded, naughty or nice was always the big...
