I like the painting and I like the description too. Having spent many years working with people with a variety of disabilities I including autism I appreciate the ability and need to recognize the different worlds of perception. I am reminded of several people in particular..one man who didn't much like interacting with people but who loved music especially the piano which he could play some and another woman who never spoke words but sometimes vocalize. She never assisted with bathing or showering or getting dressed and left on her own she usually stood up with her right foot forward..left foot back and rocked back and forth observing the world around her. I have not seen her in years. I always believed there was much more going on in her head then she let on. Thanks just for bringing that memory forward.
