Inspired by the iconic song "America The Beautiful," this fantasy landscape features majestic purple mountains enveloped in a friendly scene. The artwork captures a symphony of reflective light playing over colorful textures under a lightly misting sun shower. The scene illustrates the artist's poem about a hiker rescuing a playful dog that slipped on damp leaves (partially concealed by fallen Autumn foliage along the river's edge) and fell into cold spring water. Known for her sense of humor, this artist showcases her unique story of saving the dog in her meaningful and whimsical style.
♥ A Mountain River Fall
By Fine Artist, Lynn Raizel Lane
Once upon a wide mountain river
Damp leaves crunching as something ran by
A white dog fell in struggling with a shiver
I jumped in to save it; could not let him die
The water droplets reflected the trees
Finally hiking to take pictures of fall
As temps got colder I began to sneeze
That wet pup was glad I was there at all
Our sunshower fizzled but we needed to dry
The wetness gave us both a cold chill
Birds showed up flying high in the sky
But, there was no sound as all was too still
After finding sticks I started a small fire
The dog rested to become warm as toast
He up and licked me, then ran to rocks higher
Later I decided I'll be missing HIM the most

Biblical Scripture teaches we should take CARE of animals:
Proverbs 12:10 “Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel.”

For Amber Waves Of Grain,
For Purple Mountain Majesties
Above The Fruited Plain!.."

Thank you, and that is him.. right before he fell INTO the water, as he could not see the edge.
