You were in a mood and poured a drink
It would not matter what neighbors think
Outside you stumbled to fall on the lawn
When you actually thought you saw a fawn

Guys and gals may come and go
Relationships are never easy you know
The eyes light up and the pants fall down
And most just end up looking like a clown

At times we are in the mood to drink booze
Regardless of joy or getting bad news
We can only live one day at a time
While life is good, it can turn on a dime
